In today’s difficult economy, many people are struggling with powerful emotions of loss, while at the same time trying to find job-career resources in response to an ever-deteriorating “job landscape.” In this 2-hour session, John will explore the ways job-seekers’ pain, anger, grief, and fears can be brought under control and how readjusting one’s attitudes can improve the chances for successful reemployment.
In part 2, John’s brother Dave will offer practical tips and details about the resources available for dislocated workers such as those available at Minnesota’s Workforce Centers – including possible financial aid. Participants will be offered positive options and job search tools that are designed for seeking new employment in today’s ever-challenging job market..
